
Executive Director, Padres e Hijos en Acción
Hector Portillo is the Executive Director of Padres e Hijos en Acción, a grassroots organization of individuals with disabilities, their families, friends, and community members building fulfilling and community-centered lives for Latino children. Hector is a parent leader with the Wisconsin Care Integration Initiative (state autism grant) and is co-Director of the Community Solutions for Health Equity grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Hector has been working with Latino Hispanic families and other culturally diverse populations to provide information, resources, and support for families of children with disabilities. Hector has also collaborated extensively with schools and educators, health care systems and providers, and community organizations to support building positive partnerships.
